For those who misunderstood, the song's meaning is to show how dumb is the TV/entertainment industry (including live TV fake-evangelists, fake emotions of hosts) TV is not the real thing, real life, it's a bloody cheap FAKE made by greedy bastards to fool you and ruin your life by making you sit and watch their compiled crap in-the-box, instead of living your real life, hopefully most of it outdoors. Nowadays it's gone way too far and we must stand strong and fight for our and our children's minds.
